Privacy Policy

Overview

Jicofuw is a local evening helper operated by Jicofuw. It helps you keep a few words about your day, an on-device reply, habit marks, and Demo community samples. Records you create stay in this app’s private storage on this device unless you copy them yourself.

Jicofuw does not require an Apple ID, email, or password for Enter. There is no cloud account for your reflections.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Jicofuw iOS app on the device where you installed it. Operator name used in this document is Jicofuw.

Data stored on this device

• Local Enter session flag and optional agreement checkbox state
• Onboarding and appearance preferences (Day / Dusk)
• Evening drafts, input text, reply files, and reflection history indexes
• Habit items, calendar marks, and bundled book ideas you interact with
• Display name and profile photo you set on Me (optional)
• Age band and interest tags used only to soften on-device reply themes
• Demo posts, captions, photos, likes, comments, and Demo notes
• Block, hide, and report records you create
• Reflection Credit balance, welcome grant, and verified StoreKit purchase ledger entries

Media and reply files are written under the app’s private directory. Jicofuw does not upload them to a Jicofuw server.

Permissions

System permission dialogs appear only after you take the matching action. Jicofuw does not request Camera, Photos, or Microphone on the first Enter screen.

• Microphone: only when you tap the mic on the evening editor (Parent Helper Call) to record words for that session
• Speech recognition: only after recording ends, to convert audio into editable text on this device
• Camera: only when you tap Take Photo on Compose or Me
• Photos: only when you tap Add Photo on Compose or Me
• App Tracking Transparency: may appear after Enter so shop pack measurement stays limited to this install
• Push: may be requested by the system after Enter; Jicofuw does not use a custom notification delegate

If you deny Microphone, you can still type. If you deny Camera or Photos, you can still post text. Demo Circles, Friends, and Demo notes stay on this phone and are not delivered to other people.

How data is used

• To show your draft, preview, and saved reply for the evening you confirmed
• To keep habit marks and Demo posts you create on this install
• To keep Reflection Credits in sync with verified App Store purchases
• To honor Block, Hide, and Report actions you take on Demo content

Replies are generated on this device from the words you confirmed. They are not medical, legal, or diagnostic advice.

Purchases

Reflection Credits are consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple. Jicofuw stores a local ledger of verified transaction IDs and balances so the same purchase is not granted twice on this install.

Credits stay on this device. After Delete Account or clearing this app’s data, remaining credits cannot be restored.

Sharing

Jicofuw does not sell your evening text or Demo content. It does not send reflections to a third-party model service from this app build. Apple may process purchase and device signals under Apple’s own terms when you use StoreKit, permissions, or system sheets.

Retention & deletion

• Log Out returns you to Enter and keeps local records on this phone
• Delete Account permanently removes replies, drafts, Demo history, media copies, preferences, reports, and remaining Reflection Credits from this install
• Uninstalling the app also removes the app’s private storage on that device

Children

Jicofuw is intended for parents and caregivers using the device. It is not directed at children under 13 as the primary account holder. Do not enter another person’s sensitive information that you are not allowed to keep.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when features change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy for this app.
